The Growing Child  is an upscale resale store for kids and moms-to-be.

As moms we have better things to do with our time than organize a yard sale, price our items, put up signs, then wait for hours in the hot sun, only to have most of the items we started out with not sell.

Until now consignment and consignment sales have been the only other option, but how long must we wait until we even see a dime?  What will make our items stand out and get sold? What other fees are involved? What will they be priced at? How often will they be marked down? What if we don't have time to pick up items that don't sell before our consignment contract is up? What if our items get lost?

We give cash upfront or more in store credit without the yard sale hassles! We tend to accept more items than you can sell in a month of yard/consignment sales, which saves you time and offers you convenience!!  This means more time for you to spend with your family.

How we figure our Cash/Store Credit.

For clothing, we pay based on season, brand, size, and demand. Resale price for clothing is significantly less than brand new. Equipment, toys, and accessories are bought based on brand, age, wear and tear and supply and demand in our store.  All items are bought around yard sale prices. All offers are made with the option of check or store credit.  (Typically you receive 20-25% more with in store credit)
